Throughout all my wedding planning, the most difficult part was deciding on a photographer. After searching for about a month, I found Steve Holloway. I met with him with my husband and mother at a spot that I chose and saw his work. I found that his work was beautiful! It captured the real essence of what was going on in the pictures. Of course, we chose Steve to be the photographer for our wedding. 

During the wedding, we were all amazed with Steve. He was able to make everyone get to the right place at the right time and smile for the camera. He was easy-going and friendly as well as respectful and inconspicuous throughout the evening. I had no idea what the photographs would look like but I have to say that they were fantastic!

I moved to France immediately after the wedding but my request to get the prints a bit early was granted. We received our prints early and were able to show them to our family at a second reception in Canada. Afterwards, choosing the pictures for the album was so difficult because Steve had worked his magic and had captured all the right moments and feelings in all the pictures. The final albums were absolutely beautiful and I have Steve to thank for that. His professional work ethics as well as his talent as a photographer were a real blessing for us. I have actually recommended him again to a friend of mine who is getting married in a couple years!

Steve Holloway provided the photography for my location wedding and outdoor reception outside of San Antonio. We loved his approach to photography and his ability to capture moments outside of the regular "wedding poses" and group photos. He was very creative, and really worked with our personal style and the intricacies of the setting to create a photo album that truly reflects the essence and atmosphere of that special day. Sorry that it's taken so long to reply! Life is still a whirlwind, even two months after the wedding!

Chris and I were VERY impressed with the wedding photographs... Even though it was an evening wedding, you managed to avoid the problems that can occur in night photography, like red eye and flash reflections; and those pictures that did incur some flaws, you edited beautifully. You really captured aspects of the wedding that we didn't even get to see because we were so caught up with the fast pace of the wedding. It was exciting to go through the shots and see the people we love enjoying our special day, dancing and conversing.

I know I personally was impressed by the fact that you Photoshop your images. (You have to love digital!) To get the quality of images that you provided, you have to have a lot of skill in Photoshop, and on the computer in general. I loved that during my bridal portrait session, you didn't hesitate to take pictures even if there was something distracting-- you informed me that would Photoshop it out of the final product. And even before you snapped a shot, you would know certain things that would be edited in the photograph, like if the sunlight was too distracting on my dress. That "foresight" really shows your talent and eye for great pictures.

We really appreciated the time you spent in preparing for each "shoot." Before the allotted time of the bridal portrait, you analyzed the light, shadows, and wind. You scoped out the area and made mental notes about possible picture locales. Your preparedness help expedite the actual shoot. We took so many pictures in only an hour, and the hour only felt like 30 minutes (which is great when you're in a huge bridal dress on a windy day!). For the actual wedding you were present at the rehearsal and even took some 'dummy' pictures to perfect the right flash & lighting for the actual night. You were very professional about everything. Professional, but friendly.

As far as the value of what we paid and what we got-- it is unbeatable. One of the things that inclined me to you as a possible photographer was the price of your packages. All of the photographers that I had researched online and at wedding expos were at least a few thousand dollars, and I found that many times the quality of the photographs was substandard. The ones that did have good quality in a majority of their images were at least $5000, and I knew my mom wouldn't go for that!! After looking at your website and the samples provided on there, I found it hard to believe that the quality was so good for so little money... Then after meeting with you in person and viewing actual albums and ALL of the pictures you had taken at a specific wedding, I knew that you were the one for us.

We can't wait to get our albums!! You were great!
